They?re ripening!

Love cherries and our tree always has lots. This year they will be ripe by Christmas and you can't beat a sun warmed cherry straight off the tree.

When ripe they are almost black.

We have to cover the tree or the blackbirds wouldn't leave us any, but I see they've had a few already and we'll leave a few at the end of the season for them to clean up.
