Bolte Bridge
I worked this morning in the Docklanda, which is an area that I really haven't explored yet. I finished my shift early so I decided to wander around and went down to the docks and found this great view of the Bolte Bridge. Those two towers each have 25 tonnes of useless steel and concrete. A lot of the "architecture" along the City Link freeway looks completely ridiculous, but this isn't so bad.
Today was one of those days where I had a million things that I could have posted. I went to Saint Kilda after work to hang out with an American friend who lives there and we went for a walk on the beach and saw dolphins randomly frolicking in the shallow water. We went back after some drinks and saw the fairy penguins who come into the pier every night and water rats, which are vicious little creatures. Such a good afternoon. It felt like my first day off in forever!
