Summer Colours....

The early sun touches the hills of Meadowbank Station with gold. The bright green growth below the dry hills and rows of pine trees is part of the Meadowbank Station’s now extensive Vineyards. Bird scaring devices such as gas guns and men riding noisy quad bikes start up after 7.am. Quite a lot of the vines are covered with black netting to keep the birds off the grapes. Some Vineyards use white netting which looks like bridal veils. Harvest is not too far away for the early varieties of grapes.
