Taking a Deep Breath

It's one of those times when we are having extremely low tides and record high tides. If you time it right it's possible to get a nice long walk on the sand. Maybe some storm clouds way in the distance beyond the lighthouse, so I was glad to be out this afternoon while it was so clear. The beach smelled wonderful: salty seaweedy fresh air, and the gentle hissing of the knee-high waves.
