Birthday Skyline

One of my gifts from L for my Birthday was a lego model of the San Francisco skyline - rather clever as it is fairly 2 dimensional but the clever sizing of the Golden Gate Bridge means if you look at it from the right angle it appears to be diagonally positioned and the shorter tower is in the distance even though they are both the same height. Also features the little colorful houses ‘Painted Ladies’ and just to the right of them the cable car - the building underneath the bridge is Alcatraz. Funnily enough L gave me a card depicting our hotel in San Francisco where we have stayed twice and didn’t make the connection. As for the construction - middle grandson M pretty much made the whole thing as we waited to eat J’s delicious tri tip steak dinner.
