Super slow delivery

This postcard arrived at our house today.
It wasn't for us it was was for the people who lived here before us and was posted 24th March 2010

It's taken 9 years to arrive!

It was posted (so the card says) the way the sailors used to do it.
We looked this up on the internet and apparently you leave your mail to be sent in a barrell on Floreana Island for sailors on passing ships to collect and deliver it.

What a great story.
