Over the canal

It's been quite a day! First off was a quick nip out to get samosas for a coffee morning being held in our flat. It was mainly to introduce Lavylites to Pauline and Suzanna which they both got very excited about.

G had an appointment with her new oncologist at 2:30 and we got there in time. The drive always seems so far out, and today there was a really strong breeze to contend with. All good on the medical front, we were soon on our way back, trying to avoid the end of day commuter traffic.

My extra is from a stop at the beach to drink spiced tea. We got there just at the right time to catch the sunset. The main image is of the Business Bay area as seen from the outermost bridge that goes over the canal. The lighting was amazing. We don't often get clouds, so there is always lots of excitement when we have a dramatic sky.
