Saint Etienne

A fine, fine day. After a morning of work, the Pensioner and a well selected group of chums went off to Pierre Victoire for their £9.90 Christmas lunch. Fantastic value. Though the bill came to a bit more than that, not unsurprisingly. A smaller group then headed off to the Cameo to see Sightseers. What a larf really - nicely entertaining. Then, after a refreshment in Cloisters (where Insto was supping away), it was time to head to the Liquid Room to see Saint Etienne. Fekking beezer, so it was. So good to see a band really enjoying themselves onstage and putting on a bit of a show. And I know you'll really want to know that Sarah Cracknell is in as good a voice as ever. Got this old geezer's toe tapping, anyway. Or was it just arrhythmia?
