Already in 1917 good advertising was made to mainly smoke Niemeyers tobacco. The prizes were there. Of course, only a fraction of what the smoking goods currently cost.
In 2017, 100 years later, the advertising on the facade has been restored, but now with a sign underneath that smoking is deadly.
