Two Crows

There are actually loads of crows around here and they make one heck of a noise at times and annoy the neighbours.  We don't hear them as much as the trees are further away from us, but some neighbours are considering buying a laser to scare them away before they nest this year!  Not sure if they were serious or not:-)

The two in this shot reminded me of the old Scot's song about the Twa Corbies (or Two Crows), which is a rather gruesome ballad which doesn't do much for the crow's image!  I've included a link to the English version here, as even many a Scot would struggle to make sense of the original.

A routine sort of day with washing and ironing for me and tidying up the garage for TJ.  The weather has been mostly dull with wind and rain and not very warm yet, in spite of promises of a heatwave coming our way:-)
