I thought she was a tortoiseshell but apparently not.
A good old tabby and as I learn more about tabbies it is not a breed but a coat pattern and the distinctive features are:
.'..thin pencil lines on their faces, expressive markings around the eyes, and a distinct letter “M” on their foreheads. Some believe the “M” is for Mau, the word for “cat” in ancient Egypt. Others think the “M” stands for Mohammed, who loved tabbies. Still others believe it is the blessing of the Virgin Mary...'
And from what I have found out so far Bill is a Mackerel Tabby...how appropriate that she has a fish design on her collar!

Oh and did you know!...all kittens have blue eyes and the colour develops later.
