Reflecting
Dashed home from church this morning and then joined friends to travel down to London.
Their first grandchild was born in early January. She was diagnosed with a heart tumour half way through pregnancy and the docs told her parents that she would die in the womb.
Many prayers were said and miraculously, she survived to almost full term, screamed her way into the world and is now a happy, smiley little bundle. She still has the tumour and a condition which makes her future uncertain but today, her parents and their families and friends joined together at the Globe Church, London to give thanks to God for sustaining her life.
A joyful occasion which none of us expected to see all those months ago.
Took this photo of the Shard as we exited London Bridge station.
Thanks for your comments, stars and hearts for my 2000th blip!
