The Dollis Brook viaduct
now carries the London 'underground'(sic) to its highest point on the whole network - but still fewer bricks than its Stockport rival (see https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2534457381400611006}. Seen on my walk with best mate Sandy on the Dollis Brook walk 12 miles down to Stoke Newington via the Capital Ring in glorious sunshine. This the day after my recent checkup at Moorfields Eye hospital, where, for those who follow such things, I was given extra drops to counter high pressure in the eye following the corneal transplant. Vision still amazing compared with pre-op status, allowing me to spot a reed bunting at the Stoke Newington Resevoir, a little natural haven just a few miles from Oxford Circus. In fact most of our walk alongside the brook, through Highgate Woods, disused railway line and canal done off road and traffic free.
