Very busy day

Today first thing we went to see Santa at rhyme time - melody wasn't afraid at all but looks it in the pics as her mouth full of jelly baby! I would never buy this but as she was given one by Santa - who can refuse! Came out and found my dodgy parking had elicited another £60 fine and is an endorsable offence and so 3 points too :( 6 in 2 days Grrrr
Then straight to mucky pups - had gelli baff - pasta - toothpaste - paint and chalks - last one next week - melody didn't want to leave and threw herself in the floor and then bit me!!! Not happy - for the last week or so melody has been doing screams of frustration - if she can't do something or have something (maybe stuck on a building block or another child has toy) I thought it was because she was ill - maybe not! It's infuriating whatever it is and mike and I have lost our cool with it - but tonight we agreed we can't show frustration back or surely she will just copy that - we agreed to meet it with kindness and calmness and not revert to our parents model - so we'll try that - cant help but think melody is reflecting what we've been like with each other.. Not great and a wake up call - she doesn't do it at mursery (yet they said) might just be the onset of independence and nothing to do with us., either way I'm not taking the risk! After messy play I'd arranged to pick zacs Lego up and go to tesco - but I forgot my purse again (having a home and work bag separate isn't really working for me!) so went home to get it, then went to get parcels, then tesco and Argos - melody slept hr in the car - arrived home to have missed to postie! Grrr! Went a few streets over and stalked him down! Phew - hate going so far to get parcels!!
Once home melody played in kitchen and I got on with cottage pie for wed and thurs and chicken and chorizo risotto - melody hardly ate again :(
Then parents evening at Nursery! So bless! We have brought her learning journey home to read - and it's got all her development in it! So cute - they think she great physically climbing running actions etc they say she isn't that keen on other kids.. And she likes singing slides etc - they are encouraging her to sign snd gesture less and talk more - really good capture of her now - maybe I can blip it tomoz - actually we have a Xmas party so doubt I will
