700 blips. Sufferin cheesecakes, who would have thought it?

Today (yesterday as this is a backblip) I attended a lecture on John Bellany, an incredible artist who grew up in the same little East Lothian village that I did. Port Seton, eh?

Here's a link to some of his paintings. They look naive, but he is an amazing draftsman and his drawings have been compared to Titian.

Another thing you may not know about Port Seton - Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark; her grandfather grew up in Port Seton.
