Grow you own...

My son and I went to meet my sister for breakfast in West Seattle this morning. I had an egg scramble with veggies which was really good. We also shared some beignets with our coffee - they weren't as good as I thought they would be. I think they used old oil, you could taste it.

After breakfast, we went to the farmer's market - we made quick work of that because it was cold and starting to rain. But I like this shot of a mushroom log - you could buy the log and grow the 'shrooms at home if you have an appropriately dark and moist place to put it. I liked the mushroom in the thumbnail - looks a bit like a butt-crack. hahaha (yes, I am  5 years old at heart).
