Snowdrops and leaves

In the woods by Cringletie House Hotel. Woods are a new setting for my crop of this year's snowdrops. The French call them "snow piercers", but here the snowdrops were growing up right through the leaves.

T and I followed our snowdrop walk with tea and scones at the hotel, which was extremely civilised.
