Just went shopping to Stockport today and bought a new camcorder, one that has a hard disk drive. Hopefully that will be easier to transfer to the computer than the old one I've got that uses DV tapes (I don't see any means of transferring from a tape).

Panasonic is the make I've got, hope they are good!
