I WONDER.....

…..if this could be man flu?

I didn’t go to Church because
My head was aching
My throat was sore
I can’t stop sneezing - and now
The Kleenex box is empty. 

A piece of toast
Two paracetamols
Three glasses of orange juice 
One mug of honey and lemon 
But for now
I think I’ll go back to bed -
At least I’ve got a pink robe
To keep me snug and warm.

Thankfully, tomorrow is another day
But I hope it's not like this one!
