Wild Waves
Not a promising start to the day here in Campbeltown.
Heavy showers in the morning with quite a breeze.
After our grocery shop we decided to take a chance that the weather would improve and headed south to Carskey.
The tide was well in and the waves were roaring and crashing in on the shore and on the beaches. At Carksey we waited in the car for the last of the huge black clouds with the morning rain to clear then we had our walk in bright sunshine.
The waves were huge and backlit showing all the lovely colours :-)
Lovely to watch them break into the shelf just offshore with huge booms.
Very spectacular.
This afternoon I was applying Gesso over an old painting on canvas getting ready for a new painting.
