Valentines Mosaic

I'm a bit late posting this (migraines again), but I did complete this M + G Heart in my mosaic course on Valentines day. The heart is made from stained glass, Our initials are mosaic tiles and the background is filled with pieces of (mostly) white and gold vintage tea cup fragments.  M liked it very much, and in particular Mr & Mrs Robin.

Our summer job this year is to completely renovate the inside and outside of our summer house and then we intend to hang this plaque on the front somewhere, along with an outside clock and some other decorative features picked up from craft fairs over the past couple of years.

This two-day mosaic course that B and I attended in Sheringham was great fun and we really enjoyed it.  B made a wonderful hare, see link below:
