Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire
Today was an example of simple pleasures.
We had a lovely cooked breakfast, courtesy of George. We sat. We relaxed. Some of us knitted. Some of us played C.O.D. on PS3. We had a delicious roast pork Sunday dinner thanks to Janice. We watched no less than 3 films in an epic film fest: The Nativity, Elf & The Bourne Legacy - two of these are cracking Christmas corkers, the other, a rather lack-luster, over elongated, 2D action flop. It's OK, but it really isn't much more than that. The Nativity, which I hadn't seen before is brilliant, & Martin Freeman as Mr Maddens is great. With Mr Poppy & the sweet kids, it makes for a fun movie. Elf is just classic. Nuff said.
Chestnuts?!.. Yes. Janice toasted some on the roasting open fire. They are.. an acquired taste, but fun nonetheless!
One more cosy night at the Stenhouses & then to London & to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park!
Happy Sunday blippers & blipees!
