Scottish Farewell

Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

This afternoon my husband and I attended a life celebration of a dear friend‘s mother. This bagpiper stood outside playing amazing grace as we entered into the building. The sweet strands of this familiar hymn was very comforting to everyone. Even though both Dave and I did not know Mary, personally, by the time the celebration of her life was over, we knew that Mary loved God, her family and friends.
