Picked The Wrong Day

.......to walk up Pen Y Fan!
Yesterday was blue skies, sunshine and Spring-like.
Today was forecast to be white cloud so we set off to walk up Pen Y Fan - the highest peak in South Wales - with our weekend visitor. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to see the spectacular views that we knew were there because we could hardly see our hands in front of our faces. It was raining and blowing a gale at the top and we were completely soaked by the time we got down. We’ll have to do it again with her in better weather so she can see the beautiful views.
