Spring flowers

A mild and spring-like day - despite me being very sneezy, Pete and I headed out to our favourite plant nursery at Little Bytham for a  Valentine's Day lunch. The tea-room was packed so we sat outside in the surprisingly warm sunshine to eat our delicious and decadent brie, bacon and chilli jam ciabatta.

On the way home we visited Careby churchyard,  where there were pools of snowdrops and a scatter of winter aconites, as well as the first few lesser celandine of the season. Spring is moving on...
