Brrrrrrrrrr.............

Cold out here first thing. Had to get up early as I have another day off and my friend, Susan, and I are going to the lovely big humungus John Lewis store in Cheadle Hulme. Good journey up there with great views of frosty fields, ice-covered rivers and canals and a few snow-capped hills to boot, all topped off with piecing blue skies - not anything like my view this morning of my bit of the R.Tern valley.

We've done a bit more shopping and got a few more items ticked off lists and had a lovely chatty, girlie day -

Not such a good journey home though - hit the rush hour and freezing fog, but home safely now (obviously)!
