"Stil" relevant?,

I discovered this little book in our loft some years ago, and I have no idea where it came from. It contains cartoons and humorous examples of local dialect and expressions from across the West of England, undoubtedly for the benefit of tourists. Judging by the price, it may date from the 1950s or before. The artist was George Stillings ( Stil) who was Exeter based. The extras are details from a couple of inside pages.
