The Central Library

Just completed a mega busy week. School half term and a rota mix up meant we were seriously understaffed and I’d to do an extra surgery just to keep the ship afloat. To say I am looking forward to the end of the year ( when I am hanging up my stethoscope) is an understatement.
I’d a day off today and amongst other jobs rejoined the library. The city library has a huge collection - much of which is in storage I think - and I’ve ordered some books on line which I should get next week. I learnt that you now scan your book when you take it out - the last time I borrowed a book it was stamped by the librarian.
