The Hard

Staying in Portsmouth with Michael.  We went to Gunwharf Quay for a Friday night pizza, just as we used to when he lived in Norwich thirty years ago.   Despite the rather intermittent meetings over the intervening years good conversation flowed.   Good friendships stand the test of time.

Tomorrow I see Jamie.

Edit:  See this from Par1 taken just last week.  The Hard is an old name for a harbour or quay.  In Southsea the buses turnaround at The Hard.
