Early frost on lean-to roof soon thawed away by mid-morning. It's been another beautiful day.

Extras: shops at ground level are like anywhere else but look up and it's a different storey!

Wanted a second-hand copy of The Grass is Singing by Doris Lessing and thought the book fair might be the place. I shied away from the £2 entrance fee though and tried G David. This lovely shop has an eclectic collection but no Doris Lessing - today.  Hey ho at least I've added points to my Waterstones loyalty card.
