Morning light

I raced out early this morning but not early enough as the sun was already visible glowing in the clear sky.  It was still rather misty down by the River Otter where this shot was taken. 

Then it was back home for breakfast and off to Colyton for the walk I was leading.  It was a good turnout and we enjoyed the riverside amble and short hill climb with its views back over this very interesting historic town.  We managed to not fall or slip in the muddy patches and ended with a lunchtime meal in a local pub.  A great way to enjoy today's glorious sunshine and celebrate in being retired and not in an office.
