Skiddaw Reflected Upon A Freezing Lake

Today I went for a lovely seasonal meal with the folks from Lakeland photographic holidays at the Cottage in the Wood. It's being a superb year from start to finish working for John and Gail and I look forward to the new year with them. After the meal I headed down to Derwent water to take a few photos to find that the lake was turning to ice with the lake being so still. I took this one stood on Ashness jetty, my footwear wasn't too suitable and I had a one close call, thank god for neck straps.
