Hail Hanuman!
A daily fire ceremony, held at 6.30pm, at Rangji temple in Puskar. It's a big old temple, but this is tucked away in a corner of it.
Extra is a view of Pushkar from the temple of Sarvati, which overlooks the town. Sarvati was the god Brahma's first wife, who got really put out when he found a permanent substitute for her, because she turned up too late for a very important meeting of the deities.
She cursed him with only having the one temple and no followers, which is why Pushkar is such a sacred site, and is visited by pilgrims from all over India.
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"!
