Puente

After a sleepless night thanks to some stomach cramps (was going to lay the blame on the coq au vin last night but Bene was fine...) I made it to uni for my last 2 lectures of the day.

Back home, I booked my trains and checked in for by flight to Milan tomorrow to meet up with Kate, and over to Bologna to see Jack. Can't wait - it's snowing in Milano so taking warm things. Going to try and make it into the foothills of the Alps, I'm thinking it'll be pretty spectacular!

I've splashed out on a ?30 ticket from Bologna to Milan on the frecciarossa, the highspeed train in Italy. Seeing as we're studying it in class and everything...

I've been meaning to head to this bridge for a while, and after lunch and a 45 minute power-nap I walked over. Smooth concrete lines, pretty satisfying to look at. Shuffled though the cold (9 degrees - hardly cold; I think Spain has broken my Edinburgh skin) to take my very delayed Spanish Language test. It was only one page and a writing exercise - way better than I had thought!

Bene's off back home to Rottwiel tomorrow, though from Bilbao so we won't be able to chill in departures :(
