Wintry Field

This is the only field we have managed to plant this autumn and the crop is not doing very well so far. We shall probably have to redrill in the sprng. The agronomist has been advising us what we could plant next year instead of the usual crops.

I would also like to say I am still around but have just had a new hip replacement. Every day I like to walk up the hill and along the top lane for exercise. Today was frustrating as the sun was shining but the road was still icy sheltered by the hedges so I only got as far as the gate of the field behind the house! Must try and remain out of hospital!
