She arrives.......

Back from a half hour cruise while the surveyor poked and prodded, switched things on an off and tried out all the systems on board.
Now it is a lift out for an intimate inspection of her bottom.........



........she had an (almost) unblemished bottom and the damp meter readings were fine, but we've found water in the engine oil and at the moment are in deep discussion with the marine engineers on site to get to the root of the problem...........


.........we've found the cause - a leaking water pump shaft seal which has dribbled water into the drive gear casing, we have agreed a way of dealing with it but moving the boat to her new home on Wednesday is off.
