Love and other stuff...

We're going on a road trip tomoz.... a gift from Mr Lupes... a long weekend in the New Forest....I am sooooo looking forward to it!  It includes a visit to my Mealz... and she requested that I bring her home made custard cream love hearts (thank you Nigella Lawson for the recipe)....tick....and home made cheese straws...(thank you Be-ro) ...tick..... they are both life long home comfort food for her... and I share that feeling so am always happy to oblige.
A beautiful day of red roses, prosecco and thoughtfulness from Mr Lupes....and a very emotional afternoon spent with Papa in Airedale Hospital.  He was discharged yesterday, but fell within hours and is now back in hospital.  I went through all his medical notes with the very lovely staff nurse which had us both in tears.
Valentines day........love in so many directions :) xx

PS - I also took Chino for a hair cut (smarty pants) and whilst there met another doggy due for a hair cut - which bit my finger.....ouch!!!!!!!!!!!
