Cardiff
We met up with Toria mid morning and walked into Cardiff town centre. We listened to a couple of her contemporaries doing their Masters recitals in the Tabernacle (nothing to do with the Jewish faith, but a very good venue to hold musical recitals). They were magical.
Cardiff centre had lots of big shop names with an eclectic mix of smaller privately owned shops. The indoor market also had a good mix including a cheese stall, we took our time there sampling a few varieties.
Lunch was at a Spanish tapas bar called Curado - I tried, cabrales, a very strong blue cheese - delicious.
We bumped into Toria’s cousin David, he’s just set a bar up called ‘Fly by Night’ in Cardiff. They serve cheese, wine and cocktails. Toria works here two nights a week.

She’s off to another rehearsal tonight at the BBC. It’s a full run through with some of it being recorded. She’s always doing something.
