London calling.

Tonight at 23.30 hours we waved Bas goodbye.
Together with 50 students from his school he's going to London for a few days. He's been studying Cambridge English since second grade, and a trip to London and Cambridge is part of that study.

We waved with mixed emotions. Bas is only 14 years old and this is the first time he's away on his own. But of course we wish him the time of his life in London! Enjoy Bas!!

First the bus will go to Duinkerken (Belgium) and from there they'll take the ferry to Dover. Arrival in London is tomorrow around noon.
Meanwhile we'll be waiting in our empty nest until Sunday morning when the bus will be back in Appingedam. ;)
