Pomander

Cold, wet, breezy; indoor playtimes and giddy children. Fortunately we didn't have time to make the peg dollies, which seem to be ridiculously complicated and fiddly during my 'here's one I made earlier' attempt. We did make pomanders though - also pretty complicated. Some were driven crazy by the smell (good and bad) and some got sore fingers from pushing in the cloves. Others just wanted to eat the orange and be done with it. Tying the ribbons was also interesting.

Last of the Arthouse movies til the New Year tonight : 7 Days in Cuba, 7 different directors make a short film anbout 'their ' Cuba. Sounds interesting and there might be wine and nibbles afterwards.
