Milan Italy

I actually returned from Italy on Jan 30th. But am being precautious in not posting while I was away. Milan was fabulous; the Duomo, light fixtures and architecture were amazing. People were lovely and helpful even the few times we encountered a language barrier. We took a ‘rickshaw’ tour our first day. It’s a pedi-cab (part manual pedaling, part motorized) whose rickshaw is a plastic open-sided bubble. Since it was a cool 45o, Salva (his version of Salvatore) our driver/tour guide provided a blanket.
We used Milan as a home-base and traveled by train, day-trips to Bologna and Turin.
Great clear cool weather. Wonderful sites, food, people, shopping, etc etc etc.
