Easy Blip

... according to Mr. Badger. Saturday, Mr. Badger was being a good house husband while I was photographing Owen's Birthday party. He was filling the sink to do some dishes. Our faucet is horribly slow, so he wandered off to do something else. And forgot. He doesn't know how long it was running, but he eventually heard splashing on the floor and the kitchen had a big ole puddle. Our downstairs neighbor 2 floors down came up wondering what was going on, since he had a puddle in his bathroom. So poor Mr. Badger has been feeling terrible ever since. But you know what, that's life. We all make mistakes, and it wasn't like he wanted this to happen.

Anyways, he talked to our insurance company yesterday (Monday) and they sent in a crew to make sure our place wasn't a mold fest waiting to happen. They found that our kitchen floor was completely saturated and needed to remove it, and they had to lift up the carpet that attaches to the kitchen to get it dried out underneath. Overall, not too bad in my opinion. There are 2 giant dehumidifiers running (one of them is that huge machine behind Corra) and like 5 fans running. It is very noisy in the Badger Household ;) And it is about 78 degrees in the house because of all the appliances running. We'll have to put up with this for a couple of days and then they'll piece our place back together. Phew!
