A pelican at lunch
A morning doing some shopping in Clermont l'Hérault - a nice town with a lot of small interesting shops where you can actually find what you want quickly rather than exhausting yourself in expensive chain shops, not finding anything you like - and driving to and from there through brilliant sunshine on the winter vineyards. On the way back we found a delicious menu du jour as we expected at the village bar in Neffiès which we know well. The menu there is never the run-of-the-mill café food. We had chestnut soup followed by poulet yassa, a spicy Senegalese dish, and moelleux au chocolat for dessert. A carafe of excellent red wine and good coffee to finish - it couldn't be bettered. They also have an interesting variety of water jugs!
PS Lo Jardinièr asked me to try out his new lens, so I had fun with that too.
