I got home about 1.30 last night, after a very good flight to Heathrow. It was not pleasant to de ice the car after the 20 plus temperatures in Madeira, but the roads were quiet, and not too slippery until about Banbury and then even the M40 was a bit iffy.

Cyd realised I was home this morning and crashed into the lounge window to announce her arrival. Sparkie was collected later from the kennels, where she was in a bad mood because Mrs Naylor had had another go at brushing her..... they rule the roost these two !

After my week away, when the bird table wasn't re stocked, I have now had some lovely visitors - chaffinches, the chubby robin, tits of various shapes and sizes (have to be careful saying that) and
the Mistle Thrush
