This clip-on provides safe access across the Motueka River for pedestrians and cyclists - and as an extra, which is prohibited, it provides a jumping platform for local children who love jumping into the water below.
The solid vehicle structure provides the base for the clip-on - infrastructure that is narrow and should be replaced! Thanks to steveng for suggesting this theme and hosting the Wide Wednesday challenge.

Pigeon Valley Fire, Tasman/Nelson, NZ
- The Nelson & Tasman region is still under extreme fire risk conditions.
- About midnight, Tuesday night, there was a breach of the control line in Eves Valley. Wind and low humidity caused several flare-ups.
- Underground fires can continue to smoulder and potentially restart the fire when the wind changes.
- The latest measurement of the fire is 2400ha with a 33km perimeter
- Five hundred residents, from 200 properties, are still evacuated from their homes. They do have restricted access to their properties during the day, many to feed animals.
- About four hundred of the seven hundred animals being cared for at the Richmond Showgrounds returned home with their owners yesterday.
