I was thinking about dough (as you do) and it struck me, not for the first time, that it must be a nightmare, learning English as a foreign language - not so much the verbs, as the pronunciation of our words...

dough...
through...
cough....
bough...
tough....

Doris made this loaf this morning.....it tastes as good as it looks.
