Today’s harvest

We are having fun learning about growing things, and then how to store them and be able to use them when out of season.
With busy professional lives, our gardening in Dunedin was basic, but with more time and a warmer climate we are enjoying experimenting.
It is fun to select vegetables each day...but then, we need to do something with the surplus. It was around 30C today, and I spent the afternoon making soup; freezing carrots and researching what to do with broccoli!
A hot job, but fun learning stuff my parents knew decades ago!
