New York Beauty

A dull day. Also a day with nothing planned, other than to wait in for our new cat-sitter to collect a key. An ideal opportunity to get to grips with this term's patchwork projects class theme, which is a block called New York Beauty.  

I didn't even manage to finish one block, and it is very far from perfect. There are a lot of seams, and points, and they don't all match up too well....

 I took a picture of what I'd done, then started playing with it in PicsArt. I wish I could reproduce this effect in cloth - it would take someone much more skilled than I am. Still, it's something to aim at.
