Salt and Pepper

I bought a cheap macro rail for focus stacking macro subjects, but to date have had mixed results, with manual focussing giving more reliable result.  Today I decided to give it another try, and raided the kitchen cupboard for some mixed pepper corns and rock salt.

This is a stack of 22 images merged in Photoshop. There were some issues with the merge, so having some time to spare I played with the photoshop layers and have started to work out how to fix them. 

If you look closely, its not perfect, but I am pleased with the result, and should fit in with wrperry's Tiny Tuesday challenge completely!
