Snow in the garden

I'm backblipping to the 11th.  This is what we woke up to yesterday.  And then there was more snow. Incredible! I shovelled for four and a half hours, cleared the pad in front of the garage and the paths to the wood shed, the bird feeder, and to the front gate. G tried everything he could think of to get the snowblower working. No luck!  He put chains on the truck tires and weight in the back.  There's no way we can shovel the long driveway. We've done it in the past but not when there's been this much snow.  So in a pinch, we might be able to get out if we really have to, but I don't think we'll be going anywhere anytime soon. We had about 14 inches on the ground yesterday, it snowed more overnight, and it's still snowing this morning! And the power keeps flickering.

I chose to have a soak in a hot bath rather than posting a blip.  :-)
Extras: the insulated humming bird feeder and the little peaks on the frame on one of the garden beds.
